At Omaha HAVEN we strive to assist families in transitioning between public and home-school settings and provide opportunities for Latter-Day Saint home-school families and their friends to connect in meaningful ways. Everyone is welcome to utilize this resource and participate in activities as we each seek to fulfill our divine charge--to build families that are respectful, educated, compassionate, faith-filled contributors to a civil society.

Local Resources Highlight: New Micro-school this Fall?

As many of you know, social/co-op options fill up very quickly and are limited in number. There are currently network members working to establish a micro-school option to open this Fall. This group is hoping to cover all grade levels, including Pre-K, at one location in order to simplify things for families. Keep your eyes open for additional information.

If any of you are planning on setting up a co-op, hybrid, or micro-school situation for the upcoming school year and would like us to send out the info out to the entire network, please contact Katie Burton with details.

If you notice anything you think would be helpful to local homeschoolers, please contact us at OmahaHAVEN@gmail.com or text/call Katie Burton through the Directory and we will add it to our website.
